Roof estimates without the sales visit

Know what your roof costs — before anyone knocks on your door.

Take a few photos of your roof from the ground. We turn them into a ballpark price range, then connect you with local roofing contractors we vet. No appointment, no living-room pitch, no obligation.

How it works

Three steps. No one in your driveway.

The traditional path to a roof number is a phone call, a scheduled visit, and an hour of your evening. We compressed that into a photo upload.

01 / Upload

Photograph your roof from the ground

Stand back and capture each side of the house, plus any damage you can see. Phone camera is fine. Nobody needs to climb anything — and you should not get on your own roof to do this.

02 / Estimate

Get a ballpark range back

We assess visible roof area, pitch, material and apparent condition to produce a price range — not a fixed bid. A real quote always requires a physical inspection, and we say so plainly rather than pretending otherwise.

03 / Match

Meet local contractors we vet

If you want to move forward, we introduce you to roofing contractors working in {{SERVICE_AREA}}. You choose whether to engage. You are never obligated to hire anyone.

How we get paid: the estimate is free to you. Applied Exteriors is compensated by the contractors we refer you to. That means we only make money when a contractor finds the introduction worthwhile — so we would rather send you three serious ones than thirty cold callers.
Why photos work

A roof tells you most of its story from the ground.

Roof pricing is driven by a handful of measurable things. Most of them are visible in a decent photo set — which is why an in-home visit is often about selling you, not measuring you.

  • Footprint and pitch — the two biggest drivers of material and labour cost.
  • Material — asphalt shingle, metal, tile and flat systems price very differently.
  • Complexity — valleys, dormers, skylights and chimneys all add labour.
  • Visible condition — missing tabs, granule loss, lifted ridge, storm bruising.

What photos cannot see: decking rot under the shingles, ventilation problems, and layered tear-off. Those move the final number, and only a physical inspection settles them.

What we quote

Residential roofing, end to end.

Full roof replacement

Tear-off and re-roof on asphalt shingle, architectural shingle, metal, tile and flat systems.

Storm & hail damage

Post-storm assessment and documentation to support an insurance claim. We do not adjust claims or advise on coverage — your carrier and a licensed adjuster do that.

Repairs & leaks

Targeted repair scoping for missing shingles, flashing failures, valley leaks and ridge damage.

Gutters & trim

Gutter, soffit and fascia work — usually quoted alongside a roof, where the labour overlaps.

Ventilation

Ridge vent, soffit intake and attic airflow — the most commonly skipped part of a re-roof.

Inspection & second opinion

Already holding a bid you are unsure about? Send photos and the quote, and we will tell you whether the range looks sane.
